About This Product

The SDP800 series of differential pressure sensors is a reliable solution for HVAC applications such as VAV controllers, burners, heat recovery systems and filter monitoring where cost and accurate flow measurement are demanding. The "SDP800" series of differential pressure sensors is based on the next generation CMOSens® sensor chip, which has proven successful in measuring air flow, vehicle engine and HVAC systems in tens of millions of patients for over 15 years. This is a next-generation micro differential pressure sensor that utilizes the features of the pressure sensor "SDP600" series. The "SDP800" series is the same size as the "SDP600" series, so it can be easily implemented. This next-generation sensor chip offers expanded features such as smart averaging and a variety of measurement modes. Like all of our differential pressure sensors, the SDP800 series features outstanding accuracy, long-term stability, and fast response. The digital version is multi-functional and features measurement speeds up to 2kHz, various measurement modes (single/continuous mode) and smart averaging function. The analog version allows selection of linear or square root output. The micro differential pressure sensor "SDP80x" is a type that uses an O-ring to connect directly to the pressure manifold with a screw, and the micro differential pressure sensor "SDP81x" is a tube connection type. Like all of our differential pressure sensors, the SDP800 series of differential pressure sensors is based on patented CMOSens® technology, where the sensor element and signal processing circuitry are integrated on a single CMOS chip. This differential pressure sensor measures with a thermal sensor element that uses the flow-through principle. Our CMOSens® differential pressure sensor has superior sensitivity in the low differential pressure range, offset drift, hysteresis, vibration resistance, temperature, and measurement value variation due to mounting orientation than traditional piezoresistive sensors.
