■Summary
The 2-hole cable differential type sensor (FP type) can measure up to 30kHz. This type of sensor memorizes the operating state, so the output is a final state memorization type output.It operates when a magnetic material passes through it, and even if it moves away, the output voltage state is maintained. The output inverts when you get close. Therefore, at low speeds, the influence of slight vibrations of the gears is reduced, resulting in stable operation.
The output circuit is a differential output that can be connected to a balanced transmission line that is less susceptible to noise. Noise interference is a problem when transmitting sensor signals. Conventionally, methods such as increasing the signal voltage and increasing the threshold at the signal receiving end, as well as lowering the line impedance, were used.
However, in this case, the S/N (signal-to-noise ratio) can only be expected to be around a few decibels to a dozen decibels. For the FP type, we recommend balanced transmission, which has an effect of tens of decipels. The detection surface at the tip is kept airtight by a metal case that is integrally processed with the main body, and the cable extraction part also uses Conical Press TM, a unique technology that takes water and oil into consideration. Rotation adjustment during installation is done so that the operation confirmation LED matches the rotation direction of the gear.
