About This Product

Yukashmir is a useful indicator that allows you to visualize oil leaks by changing color. It is used by pasting it on the flange mating surface of oil-filled equipment (transformers, oil circuit breakers, etc.). The insulating oil used in oil-filled equipment is transparent and light yellow, so if oil leaks from an oil-tight area, it is said to be difficult to detect from a distance. With Yukashimir, the indicator changes color from white to black as the insulating oil soaks into it, making it possible to detect oil leaks at a glance.

- Oil leakage can be detected by the color change of the indicator. ・Easy to install. ・You can see the history of oil leaks at a glance. (Note) Depending on the conditions, the color may be restored. - Discoloration due to oil leakage and rainwater intrusion can be distinguished. ・Since it is in tape form, it can be cut to any length and used. ・No power supply required
