About This Product

SSG ME series is a new one-component room temperature curing metal surface protection agent with improved metal adhesion. High hard coat properties can be expected. We receive many inquiries and requests for application testing from electronic equipment manufacturers, metal processing companies, and metal protection-related companies.

■Expected effects

・Prevents scratches on metal surfaces ・Achieves high fingerprint resistance ・Prevents discoloration of metal surfaces ・Simple anti-rust and anti-fouling effect on metal products

■Applicable areas and materials

・Various metal surfaces such as stainless steel, magnesium, aluminum, copper, brass, titanium, etc. ・Surface protection after complex uneven processing functionality

■Hard coat properties (scratch resistance)

It exhibits high hard coating performance not only on metal but also on soft surfaces such as paint films. By applying SSG (2 to 4 µm), you can expect to increase the pencil hardness of the target material by 1 to 2 ranks.

■Easily remove dirt such as fingerprints

The coated surface of SSG has been evaluated by users as being ``easy to wipe off fingerprints and hard to get scratches.''

■Effective for metal rust prevention

SSG coating is also effective in preventing discoloration of various metals. Rust prevention performance is improved by applying SSG coating.

■High flexibility

SSG is an inorganic-organic nanocomposite type. It exhibits better flexibility compared to traditional inorganic materials.

■High transparency

The total light transmittance of SSG coat is over 90%. Another feature is that it maintains high transparency on the coated surface.

■Workability

Can be sprayed or wiped.

■For metal painting line

- Can be used under general metal baking painting conditions. - Can be handled at 150℃ x 30 minutes + 20℃ x 60% humidity x 1 day or more, ensuring high adhesion.

■For antifouling applications

Wipe it off with a rag, etc., and allow it to dry to the touch in 30 minutes to 1 hour (at 20°C and 60% humidity).
