About This Product

■Summary

The full-band dummy head HMS II.6 is ideal for measuring the voice and audio quality of equipment used at a distance from the ear. It supports measurement of the sending and receiving direction of sound sources that are far from the ear, such as in-vehicle hands-free devices, smart speakers, and conference phones. The shape and acoustic characteristics of the Head & Torso Simulator comply with ITU-T Recommendation P.58, and reproduce all structures that affect the acoustics of the human body. HMS II.6 supports both transmitting and receiving measurements. Therefore, it is equipped with a 2-way mouth speaker and two low-noise free-field microphones (left ear and right ear). Since impedance simulation is not performed, it is ideal for measuring sound sources such as headphones, headsets, and handsets that are used near the ear. Using HMS II.6, you can create voice/audio recording data that is faithful to your sense of hearing for analysis with the measurement and analysis software ACQUA. Since the pseudo mouse reproduces the full spectrum of the human voice, narrowband, wideband, super wideband, and fullband measurements are possible.

- HMS II.6 is a low-cost alternative to HMS II.3 for measuring objects located far from the ear. Equipped with two low-noise free-field microphones for binaural recording. - Ideal for super wideband and full band measurements in the transmitting and receiving directions that are faithful to the sense of hearing. - The dimensions and shape of the pseudo mouse and dummy head comply with ITU-T recommendation P.58.
