About This Product

■Summary

HMS V digital dummy heads feature state-of-the-art technology, great flexibility and ease of use. Thanks to dual ADC technology (2 parallel analog to digital converters), HMS V covers the entire audible dynamic range, eliminating the need for measurement range adjustment steps. HMS V can perform instant binaural equalization even during measurements. The headphone jack allows playback and monitoring during measurements using HEAD acoustics headphones. You can listen to recorded data exactly as if you were in the original sound field. HMS V integrates seamlessly into the HEADlab system as a binaural sensor. Combine with other dummy heads or with other devices like HEAD VISOR (acoustic camera) or SQuadriga III (mobile front end) to create a comprehensive measurement system. ArtemiS SUITE recorder software installed on a PC connected via USB or LAN performs control in front-end mode. By integrating additional HEADlab modules, you can flexibly adapt the system to the needs of your measurement tasks. HMS V features convenient stand-alone recording (SAR) functionality, built-in memory for storing signal data, and a powerful high-capacity battery. The labPWR power supply module and USB memory can increase the operating time by themselves. When used standalone, HMS V can be configured and operated wirelessly or with a cable connection using an intuitive web interface that runs on a smartphone, tablet or PC.
