■Summary

The HIB I (Headset Interface Box) can be used as a reference interface for audio and voice quality testing of headphones, headsets, and headset functionality on telephones. In various operating modes, HIB I simulates the typical properties of headphones, microphones, and telephones for the device under test. The Headset Interface Box is fully integrated into the workflow of the hardware platform labCORE and the communication analysis software ACQUA, and is automatically configured and operated. HIB I is essential for assessing the quality and standards compliance of headphones, headsets, and telephone headset functionality. It is especially suitable for testing compliance with ITU-T Recommendation P.381.

■Highlights

・HIB I simulates the headset function of headphones, headsets, and telephones. This reference interface provides Loop/Monitor mode for signal passing and monitoring. ・HIB I supports automatic measurements compliant with ITU-T Recommendation P.381.

・Automatic testing of audio and voice quality of headphones, headsets, and telephones by combining measurement analysis software ACQUA and hardware platform labCORE ・Measurement in accordance with ITU-T recommendation P.381
