About This Product

labHSU is a highly flexible 2-channel data acquisition system in the HEADlab family format. It can be operated on a PC as a module of the HEADlab system as a front end. Or, as a standalone system, it can be operated remotely using a smartphone, tablet, or RC X remote control. labHSU can be connected to dummy head measurement systems, other binaural measurement systems from Head Acoustics, condenser microphones, and ICP® sensors. It also has a pulse input. The HEADlink+ interface allows connection with HEADlab modules and cascading of additional labHSUs. Measurements can be performed completely independently using the labPWR I.3 power box. Binaural sensor recording equalization can be performed directly on the labHSU (standalone mode) with digital, programmable filters. Easily handles equalization needs during post-processing. Dual ADC technology provides high-end audio quality and excellent dynamics, and it is user-friendly as it does not require resetting the measurement range, greatly reducing the risk of measurement errors due to overmodulation. The labHSU headphone output allows for aurally accurate monitoring of recordings directly on your device using Head Acoustics' standard equalization for a variety of headphone types. The USB connection allows the use of a variety of storage media and allows easy operation of the labHSU with a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi.
