About This Product

The new generation of modular HEADlab data acquisition systems is even more mobile-friendly than previous models. The new model is designed to be clear and robust for multi-channel sound and vibration measurements and features high data transfer rates, CAN-FD compatibility, and synchronization with GPS and LAN (PTP). A HEADlab II system consists of one or more controllers and various input, playback, and power modules. Easy configuration by combining controllers and modules. Compatible with a variety of sensor types to suit your application, the module housing is robust and flexible, and does not emit solid noise as it does not include a fan. The locking mechanism allows multiple modules to be securely fixed and easily removed. The heart of the HEADlab II system is the powerful controller labCTRL II.1 with the new interface protocol HEADlink 2.0 and a sampling rate of 8 to 204.8kHz per channel. labCTRL II.1 collects and synchronizes multiple data, powers the connection module, and establishes a connection with the PC. Connecting two or more controllers allows system expansion to hundreds of channels. Accessories such as the Isofix Mount, an in-vehicle anti-crash jig, allow you to conveniently and safely transport your HEADlab II system and install it anywhere. HEADlab modules are fully compatible between Generation I and II. It is also possible to combine generation I HEADlab modules with generation II controllers. Similarly, new generation input modules can be connected to generation I controllers via the HEADlink 1.0 protocol (data transfer rate of HEADlab generation I modules). Operation is possible even when generations are mixed. The protocol used is negotiated for each HEADlink connection. Therefore, it has excellent flexibility.
