About This Product

■Summary

SQobold is a compact and portable 4-channel data acquisition system for advanced sound and vibration measurements. It also supports CAN FD/OBD-II for automotive signals such as vehicle speed and engine RPM. Not only that, this versatile single system is also a highly reliable sound pressure level meter, providing visualization of both physical and psychoacoustic parameters. Psychoacoustic aspects are becoming an increasingly important criterion for noise evaluation due to directives and regulations. Conventional sound pressure levels can be monitored precisely and easily, as well as the psychoacoustic phenomena of loudness and sharpness according to the DIN 45631/A1 and 45692 standards. The battery lasts up to 6 hours, and its compact size of 14.3cm and light weight of 485g allows you to take SQobold anywhere. Online FFT analysis tools allow you to view the spectrum of the acquired signal while in the field. Sound pressure level vs. time, 1/3 octave, and other FFT-based analyzes are available. Additionally, psychoacoustic measurements such as loudness vs. time, sharpness vs. time, and specific loudness are also available. With SQobold, it is possible to record not only sound but also images in sync with the recorded data. It is also possible to document the measurement process with videos and still images. The built-in GPS receiver also records the time and location of each measurement.
