About This Product

■Structural principles and applications

CV5 series liquid ring vacuum pump. The vacuum pump is a single stage direct connection structure. The CV5 series is a motor shaft directly connected to the impeller of a liquid ring vacuum pump.

■Operating principle and structure

The CV series vacuum pump and motor form an integrated vacuum pump with small capacity and compact structure. Can be installed on a horizontal surface instead of the base. CV series vacuum pumps operate according to the sealing ring principle. The impeller is mounted eccentrically on the pump body. After the pump starts, the working fluid forms a liquid ring in the pump body that is concentric with the pump body. The wheel transmits power to the liquid ring. The liquid ring pulsates periodically between the impeller blades. When pulsating, gas is drawn in through the inlet of the orifice plate, compressed and expelled from the orifice plate. ■Usage environment

The CV5 is suitable for continuous operation and suitable for the extraction of wet and dry gases where the gas used to form the vacuum is primarily a non-flammable, non-corrosive atmosphere and atmosphere/steam mixture. The sealing liquid is water. (Usually) Stainless steel vacuum pumps are often used where more severe corrosion and processes are required. CV series vacuum pumps are used in the coarse to medium vacuum range. The ultimate vacuum is determined by the saturated vapor pressure of the working fluid.
