About This Product
“Kagami Illuuki®” has a design that looks like an LED embedded in a mirror.
Mirror lighting refers to a product that integrates lighting and a mirror, and ``Kagami Lighting'' is the product name for mirror lighting and is a registered trademark. ``Kagami Illuuki®'' emits bright light from inside the mirror toward the front through the mirror. This allows you to see what you see in the mirror more clearly.
The LED is designed so that it cannot be seen directly, so it is glare-free and easy on the eyes, providing even and beautiful lighting. In addition, by increasing the internal reflection efficiency, the brightness is increased and shadows from objects reflected in the mirror are less likely to form.
■About product type
The types you can choose will vary depending on how you will use the mirror illumination.
Please consider "with frame", "without frame", "wooden frame", and "swing type".
Please consider the "double-sided type".
Please consider the "waterproof type".
2) Please check the dimensions of the product you wish to install.
Mirror lights are made to order, so detailed dimensions can be set.
Please provide the height, width, and thickness of the product.
*If the power supply is built into the main unit, the thickness will be 60mm or more.
3) Select the frame type of the main body
Kagami Shouki's frame is available with a frame, without a frame, or with a wooden frame.
*Double-sided type and swing type have no frame.
*Wooden frames cannot be made waterproof.
4) Please check the design of the lighting part.
The lighting part can be set up to a width of 50 mm. In addition to the square type and circle type, it is also possible to add your logo.
*Please contact us if you are considering a larger lighting area.
5) Select the color temperature of the LED lighting
The color temperature of the LED lighting can be set from three types: "5000K", "3000K", and "2700K".
6) Choose the type of mirror
The mirror can be changed to a high-transmission mirror in addition to a regular mirror.
Highly transparent mirrors have fewer impurities, so the color reflected in the mirror is closer to the actual color.
7) Check the location of the power supply
The power supply will be placed separately from the main unit. Please install the power supply inside the wall, ceiling, or furniture. Please note that if the power supply is built into the main unit, the thickness of the main unit will increase.
*If the power supply is built-in, the thickness will be 60mm or more.
■About safety
Mirror lighting has a base with a built-in mirror and LED, and is by no means light in weight. (*Example: H1,000 x W500 = approx. 12kg) Therefore, the product must be securely fixed to prevent it from falling. "Kagami Hikari" does not have a structure that is hung on the wall, but rather a structure that is fixed to the wall with screws.
In addition, the installation location should be fixed to a secure location such as a control panel or steel frame, and in the case of plasterboard, use board anchors to install it. Mirror lighting is heavy and requires electrical wiring, so we recommend that you ask a professional, such as an electrician, to install it.
■About maintenance
Mirror lighting is made of LED, mirror, and base (metal). As a result, repairs may be necessary, such as LED malfunctions, non-lighting due to lifespan, or cracked mirrors. At that time, the Kagami Lighting Kit® allows maintenance to be performed separately for the LED and the mirror.
■About the water area
Kagami Shouki® can be installed in places where there is water, such as washrooms, changing rooms, and restrooms. The edges of the LED and mirror are moisture-proof and rain-proof, so they will not malfunction if exposed to some moisture or moisture. Additionally, if installed in the bathroom, the LED will be completely waterproof. The mirror also has a special coating to enhance its moisture-proofing effect. * Regarding waterproofing, we conducted a 3-month submersion test of Kagami Hikari® and confirmed that there were no problems.
