■Rust prevention mechanism
It is generally believed that the rust prevention mechanism of V-T-i tablets is that the metallic H in HNO2 in the organic nitrite molecule replaces iron. It is said that V-T-i tablets vaporize and then adhere to the iron surface to prevent iron from rusting, but iron originally does not rust unless liquid water acts on its surface, and it does not rust when exposed to air.
