About This Product

The DM3 series is equipped with a smaller version of the DMX type roller and cam mechanism. Achieves high rigidity and high speed drive. For example, the DM903 can complete a 90° rotation position in as little as 0.02 seconds. Brings speed comparable to SCARA or parallel links to multi-axis robots. Features

■Ultra high-speed positioning

It has a special cam shape and preload mechanism (PAT) that completely eliminates backlash. Achieves excellent rotational positioning performance. In addition, since the information is transmitted from the input shaft to the output table through rolling motion by rollers, not only is the transmission efficiency high, but there is no friction unlike with worm gears.

■Ultra lightweight flat shape

Adopts a DMX reducer with a unique flat structure. Since the roller and cam engage vertically, the output table has an extremely thin structure. In addition, it has an overwhelming advantage in wiring piping that takes advantage of the large diameter hollow space.

■Multi-axis combination & hollow structure

By combining and applying DM9, it is possible to construct an ultra-high-speed robot that takes advantage of the high-speed, high-precision characteristics of the roller and cam type. By achieving the speed of SCARA and parallel link robots with articulated robots, there is a possibility of utilization that goes beyond conventional common sense, such as building unique robot systems and utilizing new production systems that have never existed before. It will spread. In addition, the hollow structure allows for the construction of a clean robot with no wiring or piping exposed to the outside.
