About This Product
■Introducing the stud contactor series
Albright's stud contactor series is a collective name for SW60, SW80, SW120, SW180, SW190, SW200, SU60, SU80 and SU280. This series is designed for DC loads, so it can be used in all applications such as electric vehicles and power distribution systems. All series are suitable for use with intermittent and continuous loads.
・Intermittent current refers to the current when a switch is opened and closed with a load applied. Frequent switching of load current increases contact resistance and can affect the contactor's current rating.
・Continuous current is the current when the switch is opened and closed with little or no load applied. In this state, contact resistance can be kept low.
Albright's stud contactors have excellent welding resistance, wear resistance, and high conductivity characteristics due to the silver alloy contact tip mounted on the two-contact main contact. Additionally, these contactors are polarity independent and can therefore be used for switching AC loads. Electrical connections are available with industry standard 4.7mm or 6.3mm spade terminals, plug or screw terminal fittings or flying leads.
This series is available in normally open (A contact), normally closed (B contact), single or double throw and motor reversing application configurations, with full custom configurations available.
■Spare parts
We have spare parts for all parts to support your existing Albright stud series contactors. These include contacts, top covers and coil assemblies, as well as spare contact kits. In addition, parts of P type contactors such as SW80P cannot be replaced as disassembling the main body will damage the IP66 seal.
Contactors are generally safety-critical components and we strongly recommend using genuine spare parts to ensure reliability. The SU series contactor was developed as an economical and space-saving alternative to conventional types. Generally, it can be used for both intermittent and continuous loads.
