About This Product
The "ED" "SD" disconnect switch series is designed to provide a means of quickly disconnecting batteries or other power sources in the event of a major electrical fault. These switches are primarily intended for use in battery-powered electric vehicles, but are also used in static power systems.
All types of products can safely disconnect the battery's full load current in an emergency. Switches are used to interrupt current in emergencies or as no-load isolators. Do not use it as a regular On-Load switching device.
The "ED" and "SD" disconnect switch series are switches that immediately disconnect the battery or other power supply in the event of an emergency. This disconnect switch is mainly used in electric vehicles equipped with batteries. All types of products can safely disconnect the battery's full load current in an emergency.
