The lifespan of electrodeless lamps is 60,000 to 100,000 hours.

Electrodeless lamps emit a low heat of 80~90°C, so they help save on electricity costs for air conditioning equipment.

■Wide lighting range

It is ideal for high ceiling lighting as it is close to natural light and does not cast shadows easily.

■What is an electrodeless lamp?

As the name suggests, electrodeless lamps are characterized by the fact that they have no electrodes. Unlike fluorescent lamps and mercury lamps, there is no filament or electrode inside the arc tube, so the lifespan of the lamp is not affected by wear and tear on the electrodes, and the lamp itself does not run out of bullets, so it continues to light forever. Therefore, the lifespan of the inverter that lights the electrodeless lamp is the lifespan of the electrodeless lamp. Inverters have a long lifespan of 100,000 hours and are energy efficient, so they are often used in locations where replacement is difficult.

■Structure and light emission principle of electrodeless lamps

Electrodeless lamps use the principle of electromagnetic induction and the principle of light emission by discharge, and do not have electrodes inside the arc tube. It consists of an inverter (lighting circuit), an induction coil, and a light emitter.The inverter generates a magnetic field from the induction coil, causing electromagnetic induction. The electrons generated by this and the atoms in the tube are excited, producing ultraviolet light, which collides with the fluorescent powder on the inner wall of the bulb, producing visible light.
