Self-clinching fasteners (press-fit fasteners) are fasteners that plastically deform and fix when they are press-fitted into a part with a prepared hole. The serrated tightening ring serves as a rotation stop.

It provides stable, high fastening force and a beautiful finish, and can also be used on thin plates that are difficult to tap.
