About This Product

■Suitable for large air volume with low pressure loss

By using a straight sound-absorbing splitter, the pressure loss is extremely small, so it is usually possible to select a silencer that matches the duct dimensions within the allowable pressure loss.

■Guarantees excellent sound reduction performance

Sound reduction performance has been confirmed as a dynamic insertion loss value through acoustic wind tunnel tests and the large-scale Sasakura Acoustics Laboratory, which consists of two reverberation chambers, and we guarantee excellent sound reduction performance. All functions of the Sasakura Duct Silencer have been measured at the Sasakura Acoustic Laboratory to ensure the following acoustic performance and special airflow.

■Self noise value

This is the secondary sound (wind noise) generated within the silencer due to airflow, and is expressed in sound power level.

■Dynamic insertion loss value

It is an accurate method of expressing sound reduction performance when airflow is involved, and it shows how much the sound pressure level at the sound receiving point before installing the silencer is reduced by installing the silencer.

■Pressure loss value

It represents the static pressure difference before and after the silencer due to air flow. Due to its low pressure loss, it is ideal as a silencer for ventilation equipment with low static pressure, such as pressurized ventilation fans. It is also suitable for use at high flow rates.
