About This Product

■Air conditioner plenum chamber

SA/RA sound deadening chamber for air conditioners. The number and position of branch openings can be set freely. An inspection port can also be installed. The smaller the duct connection, the greater the sound reduction, and the larger the chamber body, the greater the reduction in low frequency sound. The sound reduction performance of a sound deadening chamber is calculated using an estimation formula (ASHRAE) that is calculated from the chamber dimensions, the distance and angle of the entrance and exit. If there is no branch, the noise-muffling elbow AEE also takes up less space and may have better sound reduction performance. If you desire even higher sound reduction performance, we recommend the AEF type silencer.

■Chamber for fan coil

It can also be used for things other than sound deadening chambers for floor-standing air conditioners. For fan coils that are concealed in the ceiling, there is an inner chamber that is attached to the air outlet and suction port. Since the number and location of the entrances and exits are free, it can also serve as a branch chamber. It is also possible to manufacture it with the same specifications as other regular sound deadening chambers.

■Branch chamber

When connecting flexible ducts to the air outlet at each end in the ceiling, we can also prepare inner-lined branch chambers for branching into multiple flexible ducts. The main pipe duct is available in round or square versions, and can accommodate up to 8 flexible duct connections. Of course, there is sound-absorbing material inside, so you can expect a sound reduction effect here as well. The inner surface is finished with glass cloth.

■Chamber for louver

There is also an inner chamber in front of the louver. Since the chamber dimensions are about the same as the louver dimensions, we cannot expect a significant reduction in sound volume. There is also a type that has a baffle board installed inside to improve sound reduction performance.
