About This Product

Seawater is evaporated under vacuum using waste heat from diesel engine cooling water to create highly pure fresh water. The fresh water produced can be used for multiple purposes, including drinking water, boiler supply water, and miscellaneous water. There are two types of fresh water generators: tubular type and plate type. This is a water generator that applies plate heat exchanger technology. By making the heat exchanger section coverless, installation space is reduced, and maintenance and inspection work can be performed easily and in a short time. The amount of water produced is from 20 tons to 45 tons per day. Water can also be produced using steam by adding a steam injector or steam booster unit. There are two types, RE type and RM type, depending on the cooling seawater supply method and ejector pump arrangement.
