About This Product

■Summary

The TM2500C inherits the proven accuracy and reliability of the TM2000B and uses advanced measurement and processing of the OCXO output to significantly improve the accuracy of the holdover function. It is also equipped with an SMB connector for 1PPS and 10MHz signal output. Additionally, the 10MHz output can be synchronized with GPS 1PPS signals.

■Applications and target market

TimeMachines GPS-based time servers are suitable for applications that require synchronization of events in multiple locations. Without coordinated network time, it becomes very difficult to search multiple system logs for problems. Educational settings, industrial facilities, military facilities, public safety facilities, government agencies, broadcast stations, hospitals, etc. are all applications that require time synchronization systems.

■Time synchronization

Having a TM2500C NTP/PTP server on your local network ensures time synchronization regardless of internet connection status. Time accuracy is significantly improved compared to Internet-based time sources because the delay is reduced to that within the local LAN segment. By combining with PoE or WiFi-based clocks, you can create a building or campus-wide time synchronization system. Other businesses that can benefit from a local time source include voice/video logging systems, VoIP PBX phone systems, and isolated networks that require time.

■How it works

TimeMachines NTP/PTP network time servers are advanced technologies that provide accurate time to computers and timekeeping devices on your network. It supports both PTP (Precision Time Protocol) and NTP (Network Time Protocol), allowing you to use a Stratum 1 time source on your local network without having to connect to the Internet. It also uses an active GPS antenna and maintains the current time broadcast from US GPS satellites. Additionally, it features a highly stable OCXO reference clock, which allows it to maintain time even if GPS lock is lost for a period of time.
