■Dry gas meter principle/structure diagram
When gas enters from the inlet and fills the metering chamber, the diaphragm moves in response to the gas pressure (pressure difference between the gas inlet and outlet sides).With the action of the slide valve that switches between exhaust and intake, four diaphragms separated by two diaphragms are moved. It passes through the measuring chamber one after another and is discharged from the exit. The two diaphragms have a phase difference of 1/4 stroke by the rotating crank, and the number of reciprocating movements is transmitted from the crankshaft to the integrating mechanism, which indicates the integrated flow rate value.
