About This Product

Mercury is software that non-contactly analyzes strain distribution using DIC (Digital Image Correlation) from images taken before and after deformation taken with a digital camera. It is ideal for new product development, comparison with CAE simulation, and various other material strength evaluation tests.

■Software lineup includes 2D/3D

Mercury has two lineups: 2D module and 3D module.

■2D module

Mercury's 2D module is used to measure dimensions and deformations of planar objects. This includes basic measurements such as length, width, and area.

■3D module

The 3D module is designed to measure the dimensions and deformations of three-dimensional objects. This is particularly useful for measuring three-dimensional shapes, depth, and analyzing complex three-dimensional deformations. Main features of the software

■Abundant analysis functions

In addition to each principal strain, Mercury is equipped with various analysis items such as uniaxial strain, shear, and strain rate. This makes it possible to compare simulation and theoretical values ​​with actual phenomena.

■Camera control on software

Mercury supports the control of the high-speed camera Phantom and various machine vision cameras. You can control the camera from Mercury's software and perform everything from shooting to analysis on the same software. This saves you the hassle of switching back and forth between software.

■Real-time measurement

Mercury's real-time measurement capabilities are powerful tools for capturing and analyzing the dynamic behavior of objects and materials in real time. This function instantly measures the movement and deformation of an object, and processes and displays that data in real time. This makes it possible to use it in a wide variety of applications, including stress testing of materials, vibration analysis of structures, product quality inspections, and pre-tests to confirm correlations before testing.
