About This Product

Thermera is a temperature measurement system that uses a two-color algorithm. Correction by emissivity can be canceled and temperature measurement can be performed with high accuracy. Temperature can be measured through glass and without contact, helping to solve temperature measurement problems.

■What can be achieved with Thermera

In the research and development field, the two-color method allows highly accurate temperature data to be obtained regardless of the material or experimental environment, so it can be used in a variety of situations. In addition, by combining it with a color high-speed camera, it is possible to measure the temperature of high-speed phenomena. Contact-type temperature measurement is the mainstream at production sites, but there are issues with safety and individual differences. Thermera can obtain accurate temperature data regardless of distance or angle, and can also measure temperature away from the heat source, so it can solve various problems.

■Can be viewed through the observation window / Emissivity correction free

Since the measurement wavelength is in the visible light range, it can pass through glass and measure temperature. Two-color algorithms do not require emissivity.

■Improved traceability

By being able to acquire highly accurate two-dimensional temperature images, temperature can be constantly monitored and traceability can be expected to improve.

■Production line automation

■Save as 2D image + CSV

When installing a contact temperature sensor, one sensor can only obtain one point of temperature information, so in order to obtain temperature distribution information, it is necessary to install many sensors, which takes time and effort. . Since Thermera obtains temperature information for each pixel in a two-dimensional image, it is possible to visually check the detailed distribution and save it as numerical data. Additionally, data acquisition is easy as all you have to do is install a camera and take images.

■Can be photographed from a distance and is less susceptible to deterioration

Contact type operation has the advantage of being able to measure not only the surface temperature but also the internal temperature, but if used for a long time, the sensor itself deteriorates and wears out due to dirt, rust, etc., making it necessary to replace it. Additionally, contact may cause the temperature of the object to change due to heat conduction to the sensor. Since Thermera is non-contact, it can measure without touching the target object, so it is not subject to external damage that can occur with temperature sensors.
