About This Product

The Phantom TMX 7510 is 1,280x800 pixels, 1 million pixels, and achieves ultra-high-speed shooting of 76,000 frames per second. The maximum shooting speed is an astonishing 1.75 million frames per second, and the maximum shooting resolution is 1,280x32 pixels or 640x64 pixels. It is ideal for image analysis such as moving object analysis, PIV, DIC, etc. because it does not perform image interpolation and captures images at the global shutter, actual resolution, and actual shooting speed. There are three models in the lineup, including the TMX 6410 and TMX 5010, both of which have lower shooting speeds.

■Adopts industry's first back-illuminated sensor

Phantom TMX is the industry's first high-speed camera with a back-illuminated sensor. By implementing a back-illuminated sensor, we were able to develop a custom sensor that maintains the super pixel quality that is the hallmark of the Phantom, while also allowing for unprecedented ultra-high-speed shooting. By implementing a back-illuminated sensor, we have achieved high sensitivity ISO 125,000T (monochrome) with a pixel pitch of 18.5μm. The small pixel pitch makes it suitable for magnified photography and photography with special optical systems. Back-illuminated sensors, also known as BSI (Back Side Illumination), place the circuitry of conventional sensors on the back of the sensor that blocks light from entering the photodiode, allowing light to be collected efficiently. By moving the circuit to the back of the sensor, more light can reach each pixel, improving sensitivity and QE (Quantum Efficiency) despite the small pixel pitch. Successful. Phantom TMX has flexible settings and multiple functions, allowing researchers to obtain the best images possible.

■Binning mode

"Hardware binning mode" that treats four pixels as one pixel can be selected. This allows you to capture high resolution images while maintaining the shooting speed. In standard mode, you can shoot at 300,000 frames per second @ 1,280x192 pixels (horizontal rectangle), but by switching to binning mode you can achieve 640x384 (vertical rectangle) at the same speed. This gives researchers the freedom to choose a resolution that fits the size and shape of their high-speed experiments.
