About This Product

This is a device for understanding the optical characteristics of reflective and transmitting materials, including psychological "gloss". It is possible to measure the reflected light distribution of metals, painted surfaces, plastics, printed surfaces, paper, textiles, etc., as well as the transmitted light distribution of glass, liquids, cellophane, etc., as well as cloudy measurements. The incident angle and acceptance angle can be varied independently, and by shining light on a material and analyzing the intensity distribution of reflected and transmitted light, it is possible to derive optical information possessed only by that material, making it possible to research optical appearance. It is an indispensable device. There is a processing device for calculations, a program to graph the calculation results, and various optional sample stands.
