■Summary

The MT-1200 series thermocontroller for microscopes uses Collet's extensive technology and experience with thermocontrollers for microscopes and a newly developed special material heater to enable clean surface observation and sample measurement at unprecedented high temperatures (MAX 1,200℃). It's possible.

■High temperature observation and measurement possible in a short time

The temperature can be raised and lowered in a short time, from room temperature to 1,200℃ in about 4 minutes (300℃/min.) and from 1200℃ to 40℃ in about 5 minutes.

■Clean surface observation

By using a newly developed special material heater, it is possible to minimize outgassing, thermal expansion, contamination, halation, etc. at high temperatures. Additionally, by using a rotating quartz window, a clear field of view can be obtained even when the sample becomes cloudy due to sublimation or moisture.

■Wide adaptability

It can be easily attached to various types of microscopes and measurement devices, such as optical microscopes (only epi-illumination), laser microscopes, and X-ray analysis devices. It can also be attached to equipment such as a microscope that you are currently using.

■Details

In order to safely perform observations at high temperatures (1,200°C), the chamber uses water cooling circulation. If water cooling circulation is interrupted for some reason, an interlock function will activate when the chamber temperature reaches 60°C or higher. , cut the heater current. The heater baffle inside the chamber and the water-cooled insulation effect allow the objective lens to be used safely even when used at high temperatures.
