About This Product

■Export panoramic scans from FARO SCENE software as projection layers for Mari

Use the SCAN2FX Exporter module for Mari to quickly convert SCENE scan projects into Mari projects for 3D painting and texturing.

■Features

Create textures on meshes using spherical image projections, layers, and projectors generated in SCAN2FX (for example, exporting as OBJ from SCENE to Maya). Paint various scanned panoramic textures onto the mesh using Mari's 3D painting toolset. -Use the variety of materials generated by SCAN2FX Exporter to precisely control how textures are applied, blend textures from different scans (e.g. when using different exposures), and create seamless transitions. Realize. Fill in gaps where textures aren't present by painting in color channels using the Clone Brush from Mari's 3D Paint toolset. Additionally, if you have licensed the SCAN2FX Texture module, Scan2FX Exporter for Mari adds the ability to export generated textures directly to Mari as layers to SCAN2FX Textures, taking into account occlusion and layer content from each scan. will be done. SCAN2FX Texture automatically calculates textures based on OBJ meshes for various scans and UV layouts within the SCENE. SCAN2FX Exporter exports panoramas from SCENE for projected painting.
