The latest FARO Zone 3D Expert update features FotoPoints, a new tool for photogrammetry and videogrammetry. This in-software feature allows users to easily convert photos and videos captured by drones, smartphones, etc. into accurate 3D point clouds, eliminating the need for third-party software or cloud-based processing.
FotoPoints can also quickly generate scaled, high-resolution orthoimages for easy measurement, annotation, and diagramming. FARO Zone 3D Expert features MassZone Collision Prediction, which lets you create animations that predict collisions and their effects, including vehicle path, tire marks, and damage.
