About This Product

■Summary

・The Viscomate series is a vibratory viscometer that allows you to easily and quickly measure viscosity on a desktop in a laboratory or management room. ・A very small amount of sample is required (minimum of approximately 1 ml depending on the conditions, and measurement can be performed in any container by simply immersing the detection terminal in liquid. ・Cleaning is as simple as wiping the detection terminal. - Based on piezoelectric ceramics technology, the drive source and angular acceleration detection are performed by ceramic devices. - A compact viscometer that anyone can use that uses resonance.

■Features

- The wetted part detection terminal is very small, so even a very small amount of sample can be measured. -Uses resonance phenomenon, allowing for highly accurate measurements with good resolution. ・Measurement time is extremely short. ・Good reproducibility.

■Applications

・Research and development of various liquids ・Acceptance, sampling, and shipping inspection during the manufacturing process ・Medical/pathology research

■Principle

- When a detection terminal using a piezoelectric ceramic as a driving source is immersed in liquid, vibration will be attenuated in proportion to the viscosity. - Changes in this vibration are detected by an acceleration sensor and displayed as a viscosity value. - A detection terminal using a piezoelectric ceramic actuator is vibrated in the rotational direction so as to resonate at a constant frequency, and its tip (detection terminal) is immersed in liquid, and the amplitude of the vibration changes depending on the viscosity of the liquid. This viscometer uses a piezoelectric acceleration sensor to detect changes in angular acceleration, converts them into electrical signals, and measures them. ・The method of measuring viscosity by using piezoelectric ceramics as a driving source and utilizing the resonance phenomenon of rotational vibration (torsional vibration) is a unique mechanism of our company and is unique to our company. (Patented) This is the most general-purpose viscometer. Measurements can be easily made by immersing the detection terminal in liquid. It can measure small amounts of liquid from approximately 3 to 5 ml, and can be used in any container. Cleaning is very easy, just wipe the detection terminal. Data import software is also included as standard, so you can record and save data by connecting it to a PC.
