About This Product
An alloy containing 5.1% to 6.1% zinc (Zn), 2.1% to 2.9% magnesium (Mg), 1.2% to 2.0% copper (Cu), and has the highest strength among aluminum alloys when heat treated. , also called extra super duralumin. It is used in aircraft parts, railway vehicles, etc. Since it has poor stress corrosion cracking resistance, weldability, and corrosion resistance, it is used interchangeably with A7N01 (Al-Zn-Mg type), which is used as plywood with improved corrosion resistance by laminating A7072 on the surface and as a welded structural material.
