About This Product

It is an alloy containing magnesium (Mg) 0.8~1.2%, silicon (Si) 0.4~0.8%, copper (Cu) 0.15~0.4%, etc. It has excellent corrosion resistance, and its strength is also improved by adding a small amount of copper. Furthermore, by applying T6 treatment, it is possible to obtain a high yield strength of over 245N/mm2, which is comparable to SS400. However, it is not suitable for welding.
