About This Product
It is an alloy containing 3.5 to 4.5% copper (Cu), and is also called duralumin. Since the 2,000 series is a heat-treated alloy, its strength is increased by tempering, and the strength is further improved by adding copper. It has excellent cutting workability and is not suitable for plastic working. It also has poor corrosion resistance and weldability.
