■Summary
There is one lower mold. After the ram rises, the upper die pressurizes and automatically shifts in two or three pieces, each of which performs upset forging with a different power. Forging energy and ram stroke are automatically converted to prevent buckling. Molding programs are easy and clear on the touch panel, and more than 200 types can be stored.
All molds can be modified and resynchronized at will, significantly reducing mold costs. No transfer device is required, simple kick-out knockout, and simple servo drive system reduce maintenance. Fine adjustment of material ejection is easy and burr-free upsetting is possible. Can handle materials up to φ100mm and length up to 3m. Equipment cost is approximately 50% compared to conventional mechanical lateral upsetters.
