It features hardware-based multi-channel 8/10-bit H.264 encoding, decoding and transcoding capabilities. It provides high resolution and improved quality of H.264 video for broadcasting, video production, and video distribution.
Products with up to 3 channels of 4K XAVC encoding/decoding functionality are also available with a single PCI Express card.
Support for H.264-based Sony XAVC and Panasonic AVC-Ultra makes live 4K video production as easy as the current XDCAM HD workflow on PC platforms. It is an ideal H.264 accelerator for designing channel-in-a-box systems, video servers, broadcast graphics systems, encoders, transcoders, multiviewers, switchers, 4K production servers, and 4K broadcast media equipment.
