This is an extender that can transmit multiple SDI signals over long distances with a transmission rate of up to 18Gbps (up to 9Gbps ​​in one direction) using a 2-core single mode or multimode optical cable. In addition to the 1 input and 1 output fixed terminal, it is equipped with 3 input/output terminals that can detect signals from connected devices and automatically switch input/output for bidirectional transmission.

Product features
■Long distance transmissionMultimode optical cables can transmit up to 400m. Equipped with multimode SFP module. Single mode optical cable can transmit up to 80km. Single-mode SFP module is optional (sold separately). Compatible with 3 types of SFP modules: 10km, 40km, and 80km.

■Auto input/output switch functionThe 3 input/output terminals capable of bidirectional transmission detect signals from connected devices and automatically switch input/output to transmit SDI signals. Return video and talkback are also possible through bidirectional transmission.

■Single core supports unidirectional transmissionIt can transmit SDI signals with a maximum of 4 channels in one direction and a transmission rate of 9Gbps. RS-232 transmission is not possible when connecting with a 1-core optical cable.

■Supports RS-232 transmissionTally and CCU (Camera Control Unit) signals can be communicated in both directions. RS-232 transmission is not possible when connecting with a 1-core optical cable.

■Power connector lock mechanismThe locking mechanism on the connector prevents the AC adapter from falling out.
