About This Product

Achieves HDMI or SDI input source specification and simultaneous output. A simple yet versatile encoding device. Designed for video professionals including broadcasters, it flexibly supports modern distribution workflows. It supports both 3G-SDI and HDMI input, and input signals can be specified using Matrox Command Center or the buttons on the front panel of the main unit. You can connect and use various devices such as cameras and switchers. Each input source can be corrected with a built-in frame synchronizer, achieving stable distribution and recording even when the input is unstable. Audio can also be selected from embedded audio or analog stereo input, and audio can be muted/unmuted without affecting video encoding. When recording with Monarch HDX in an SDI workflow, the built-in pass-through allows you to safely bypass the SDI input video to the SDI output via the main unit, even if the power goes out.
