About This Product

The HP-L-5.8 laser scan sensor is an easy/affordable way to get started with point cloud creation. As an alternative to the HP-L-10.10, this laser scanner is ideal for users seeking a reliable and cost-effective entry-level laser scanning model where work throughput and accuracy requirements are lower. . A fixed blue laser beam can measure a wide range of surfaces, from dark to bright surfaces. The robust and compact design makes it ideal for laser scanning in locations with limited accessibility or on small CMMs. The HP-L-5.8 features a Hexagon kinematic joint and is compatible with automatic sensor exchange racks and existing Hexagon probe heads and accessories. Features

■Blue laser scan

The fixed blue laser can capture 900 points per line, acquiring 36,000 points per second, with measurement frequencies up to within 40Hz.

■Sturdy and compact design

HP-L-5.8's robust design protects components from collisions and vibrations. With its compact size and short working distance of 140 mm +/- 40 mm from the surface, it is ideal for applications with limited accessibility and small CMMs.

■Reliable accuracy

Compliant with the latest ISO 10360-8:2013 and ISO 10360-9:2013, the HP-L-5.8 is a cost-effective entry-level model for laser scanning products.
