About This Product

■High self-extinguishing propertyThe fabric used in Armatex products is a flame-retardant fabric made from a blend of 100% cotton treated with flame-retardant materials and flame-retardant materials such as modacrylic. Regular cotton is a material that is easily flammable, but Armatex flame retardant products have high flame retardant properties, making them difficult to catch fire, and even if a fire does ignite, it will self-extinguish and prevent the spread of fire. Also, the fabric will not melt and stick to your skin.

■Flame retardant effect persists even after washingIt is resistant to repeated washing and maintains high performance.

■Excellent comfort and convenienceThe comfort of the cotton base, ease of washing, and resistance to static electricity are maintained.

■Main usesFor work involving fire such as welding, metal processing, shipbuilding, and furnace work.

■Exam content・Flammability test JIS L 1091:1999 E method (oxygen index method)
Limiting oxygen index (LOI value): 29.8
 (The higher the value of the limiting oxygen index, the more flame retardant it is, and generally, if it is <26 or more>, it is self-extinguishing.While ordinary cotton material is <18>, it is extremely flame retardant.) (High flame retardant effect)
