■Viewing angle measurement using DTS500
The DTS500 positioning system complements the operation of Instrument Systems spectrometers by setting up fully automatic measurement routes. It is especially suitable for measuring viewing angle-dependent properties and spatial homogeneity of displays, panel graphics, and LED lamp modules. The DTS500 eliminates manual alignment, saving valuable time and ensuring reproducible and accurate results.
The entire 5-axis system operation is fully integrated into SpecWin Pro software. Measurement results can be displayed as brightness and contrast distributions with ISO contours in Cartesian or spherical coordinates. It is also possible to export the data in tabular format to Excel.
■DTS500 system configuration
・Stand-alone XYZ positioning system (e.g. for testing back-illuminated displays and control elements for the automotive and aviation industries)
・Stand-alone 2-axis goniometer (for measuring spatial radiation patterns of lamp modules, etc.)
- Complete 5-axis system mounted on an optical bench (e.g. for testing LCD displays or entire instrument clusters)
・Optical mount that can be used with TOP200, LumiCam1300, LumiCam4000
