■Two-dimensional luminance measurement using an imaging colorimeter
There is growing interest in the rapid capture of photometric and colorimetric quantities using imaging colorimeter with spatial resolution. Compared to measuring instruments without spatial resolution, such as spectrometers, this technology can capture many measurements simultaneously from a single image, saving significant time and incorporating image processing capabilities into the software for analysis ( This has the advantage of automating processes (such as uniformity and contrast calculations).
However, the absolute measurement accuracy of imaging colorimeter is not as high as that of spectroradiometer. The reason for this lies in the operating principle that when using CCD sensors with optical fibers, the accuracy only adapts to the limited sensitivity of the human eye.

■Product information
The LumiCam1300 imaging colorimeter is capable of instantly capturing complex luminance and color distributions. For applications that require luminance measurements without color information, a black and white version of the camera can be used. LumiCam1300 features very high signal to noise ratio, low smear and low defocus. The dynamic range in multiple exposure mode is up to 6 digits in one image, and the absolute measurement range is 0.0001 to 100,000 cd/m2.
Brightness values can be further increased using an optional neutral density filter. Additionally, the LumiCam1300's compact size makes it extremely flexible and can be used in a wide range of applications. The included LumiCam software is equipped with useful functions for result analysis and documentation.
