About This Product

■Summary

This system can accurately measure the light distribution characteristics of individual LEDs, modules, SSL (Solid-State Lighting), and lighting equipment.

■Light distribution measurement using a goniometer

A goniophotometer allows comprehensive analysis of the angle-dependent optical parameters of LED and SSL products. Its applications span the entire value chain, from single package LEDs to LED modules, light engines, large SSL lamps and luminaires. All goniophotometers are designed as Type C (by converting the luminaire configuration) with the optical axes side by side. Every goniometer is benchmarked and classified into classes for accuracy, reliability, and handling. When combined with spectroradiometers from Instrument Systems, these goniophotometers can measure not only photometric data but also spectral quantities such as color coordinates, color temperature, and color rendering index as a function of angle.
