About This Product

■Summary

- A highly accurate and easy-to-use color luminance meter that can measure luminance, chromaticity, and correlated color temperature over a wide range from low luminance to high luminance. - Weighing only 850g (excluding batteries), it is lightweight and compact, so it can be carried in hand or used as a sensor in production lines or system equipment. *Received the 2016 Good Design Award.

■Main uses

・Measurement of various displays, LEDs, EL, etc. ・Measurement of road lighting, tunnel lighting, and street lights ・Measurement of automobile/aviation related monitors, light sources, and lighting ・Measurement of movie theater screens and projectors ・Measurement of signs related to automobile roads, airports, and railways ・Measurement of illumination, outdoor billboards, and signage ・Measurement of various lighting facilities and equipment light emitting parts ・Measurement of visually impaired guide blocks ・Measurement of medical lighting and medical monitors

■Achieves high accuracy

The CS-150/CS-160 is equipped with three new sensors with sensitivities that match the standard spectral responsivity (CIE 1931 color matching function) corresponding to the sensitivity of the human eye, and uses the output of these sensors. A highly accurate tristimulus value (XYZ = red, green, and blue) type color luminance meter.

■Excellent ease of use

・Equipped with an auto mode function that automatically selects the optimal measurement time according to the brightness of the object to be measured. - Bright and easy-to-see viewfinder that makes it easy to see the object to be measured. - Backlight function allows you to use it even in dark places. -Easy to hold grip. Focusing during measurement is also smooth.

■A wide variety of close-up lenses

Four types of lenses (No.153, No.135, No.122, No.110) are available for measuring microscopic surfaces.

■Can also be used for installation measurement with the optional CCD camera mounting adapter

A C-mount industrial CCD camera can be attached between the viewfinder and the viewfinder.

■Illuminance can also be measured using an illuminance adapter (sold separately) (display unit is cd/m2)

・CS-150: 0.15 to 999,900lx equivalent ・CS-160: 1.5 to 9,999,000lx equivalent *This is a simple illuminance measurement function and does not comply with JIS standards.

■Easy to understand utility software

By using the standard software, you can control the measuring instrument from a PC and display interval measurements, measurement data, and lists. Data can also be transferred to spreadsheet software.
