About This Product

■Summary

This measuring instrument has the measurement performance required for the development and inspection of high-quality displays, and is a top model of spectral radiance meter that combines sensor technology accumulated over many years with the latest digital technology. While maintaining data compatibility with the previous model CS-2000 series, it has achieved accurate measurement over a wide dynamic range from ultra-low brightness to high brightness, as well as significantly increased speed and automation.

■Main uses

Measurement of brightness and chromaticity of various displays such as LCD, OLED, Micro LED, Mini LED, etc.

■Accuracy guaranteed at ultra-low brightness

Inheriting superior optical design and signal processing technology, it achieves the high precision required for reference value measurements of various light sources such as displays. With a half-width of less than 5 nm recommended by CIE (CIE122-1996) over the entire measurement wavelength range, accurate measurements with suppressed noise are possible even at low luminance. The CS-3000HDR guarantees luminance accuracy and repeatability of 0.0001cd/m2 or higher at a measurement angle of 1°.

■Chromaticity accuracy guaranteed for each measurement angle

Accuracy and repeatability are guaranteed for each measurement angle in CIE1931 xy chromaticity and CIE1976 UCS chromaticity diagram u'v'.

■Wide measurement dynamic range

In order to meet the ever-evolving display measurement needs aiming for more vivid and high-quality displays, accuracy is achieved over a wide dynamic range from ultra-low brightness to high brightness at a measurement angle of 1°, which is often used for reference value measurement. We achieved accurate measurements. It supports standard value measurement of HDR displays using Micro LED and Mini LED as well as the currently mainstream LCD and OLED. Accuracy guaranteed luminance range (luminance measurement) @Measurement angle 1°: 0.0001 to 100,000cd/m2

■1°/0.2°/0.1° motorized measurement angle switching

You can choose from three measurement angles depending on the measurement size. Electric switching is possible using communication commands, making it compatible with fully automatic measurement systems. The minimum measurement diameter is φ0.5mm as standard, and φ0.1mm when using the optional close-up lens.

■Short measurement time

Using a conventional spectrophotometer to perform sequence measurements involving low luminance, such as gamma measurements of displays, low luminance uniformity measurements, or I-V-L measurements of display materials, can take several hours or more, and can be difficult for both R&D and production. This is also an issue in the field of quality control.
