About This Product
A demister is a complex structure made by forming sets of two nets woven from fine wires, alternating waves, and stacking them in multiple layers. The demister has an extremely high void ratio of 94% to 99%, so it is light in weight, and since the entire surface of the wire is in contact with the space, the surface area is extremely large and the pressure loss is small.
■Features
・Because it is lightweight, it is low cost and economical.
・There is no need for demister maintenance costs.
・Contact area is extremely large and pressure loss is small.
・Easy to use for small equipment.
- Less susceptible to size and shape restrictions.
-Easy to install on existing equipment.
・Excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance.
・High efficiency close to 100% is possible.
・Highly uniform filling properties, and pressure loss due to uneven filling is extremely small.
■Material
Demister is applicable to a wide range of materials and can be manufactured from the following materials, mainly stainless steel. Stainless steel wire (SUS304, 304L, 316, 316L), Inconel, Monel, Nickel, Titanium, Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Polypropylene, Glass fiber
■Applications
Demister is used in the devices shown below. Typical fields of use include organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, coal chemistry, petroleum refining, and all other industries. Absorption equipment, crystallization equipment, cooling tower, dehydration equipment, deodorization equipment, distillation tower, evaporator, fractionation tower, gas absorption equipment, gas purification tower, diffusion absorber, vacuum distillation equipment, wet gas purifier, dust collector
■Grid and installation method
When installing a demister inside a device, it must be strong enough to not affect the performance of the collector or droplet fall. If the tower diameter is small, use wire mesh or rods as the grid. Grids, like demisters, can be made from a wide range of materials. Although it depends on the conditions of use, double-sided grids are often used.
