About This Product

The Chroma 17040E power regenerative charge/discharge test system is a high-precision system specifically designed for secondary battery module and pack testing. The power regeneration function significantly reduces power consumption during discharging and ensures a stable power grid without causing harmonic interference to other equipment even under dynamic charging and discharging conditions. While traditional equipment discharges energy in the form of heat, the Chroma 17040E can regenerate the electrical energy discharged from the battery module back into the grid, reducing energy consumption and improving air conditioning systems. Relax your demands. The 17040E has built-in parallel channels and dynamic profile simulation capabilities. Paralleling functionality maximizes charge/discharge current and power, increasing efficiency and flexibility in equipment utilization. Additionally, the dynamic profile simulation feature can load current mode or power mode battery waveforms that meet NEDC/FUDS requirements. The bidirectional architecture ensures uninterrupted current during charging and discharging transients, allowing you to accurately simulate operating conditions in line with ISO, IEC, UL, and GB/T international test standards. Powered by Chroma's powerful Battery Pro software, the test system provides flexible test editing capabilities to perform independent channel tests, and is ideal for testing secondary battery packs with high safety and stability. Compatible with various requirements. Chroma 17040E ensures charge/discharge testing under protected conditions with multiple safety features such as over-voltage protection, over-current protection, over-temperature protection, and external parameter detection. Additionally, a recovery feature prevents test data from being destroyed or lost in the event of a power outage.
