About This Product

■SummaryZAP paste is a coating type corrosion protection that not only has a high coating anticorrosion effect due to its thick film, but also has a sacrificial anticorrosion effect due to zinc.

■Product compositionThis product is made of a weather-resistant butyl rubber adhesive mixed with high-purity zinc powder to make it conductive. After scattering the solvent, it hardens while retaining some elasticity.

■Features・Due to high life cycle costs, repair costs can be significantly reduced. A film thickness of 300μm or more can be formed with two coats, and the coating has excellent anti-corrosion effects. The zinc content ratio in the dry film thickness is high, and the zinc powder provides sacrificial corrosion protection over a long period of time. It has high weather resistance, with no problems in an accelerated weather test of 4,000 hours, and the expected service life is over 20 years.
・Easy construction. Can be applied immediately after base treatment (3 types or higher). No need for primer or solvent addition.
・It is also effective against contact corrosion of dissimilar metals and crevice corrosion. Zinc has a strong tendency to ionize, so if it is used in areas where dissimilar metals such as stainless steel and iron or aluminum and iron come into contact, or in gaps that occur when two materials come into contact, it can protect important components from corrosion.
・A non-toluene type that does not contain harmful toluene.
