■Description

SA50CE is a pulse width modulation amplifier that can continuously supply 5A to the load. As a full bridge amplifier, it operates over a wide supply voltage range. The drive/control circuits for the low-side and high-side switches are all built into the hybrid. It also has a built-in PWM circuit, so the user only needs to input an analog signal to indicate the speed and direction of the switch, or an audio signal for switch mode audio amplification. The SA50CE is packaged in a space-saving isolated 8-pin TO-3 that connects directly to a heat sink.

■Caution

SA50CE consists of MOSFET transistors. Care must be taken when handling ESD. The internal substrate contains beryllium (BeO). Please do not open the seal. If accidentally damaged, do not crush, machine, or process at temperatures above 850°C to avoid the release of toxic gases.
