About This Product

■PULSE basic electroacoustics

Software for evaluating the electroacoustic performance of audio equipment This PULSE software measures the output and frequency response of electroacoustic transducers such as microphones and speakers. This not only provides all the basic electroacoustic measurement platforms, but also serves as the foundation module for optional advanced electroacoustic measurement software.

■Use example

・Research, measurement, and documentation during product design, prequalification, and manufacturing involving acoustic engineers. ・Benchmark the acoustic performance of electroacoustic transducers such as speakers and headphones - Evaluate the acoustic accuracy of hydrophones, hearing aids, headsets, telephones, microphones, and loudspeakers ・Sample testing of electrical transducers during manufacturing for quality assurance, such as speaker driver tolerance checks

■Optional introduction package

You can add various optional software to the basic functions of this software. ・Strain measurement test software ・Directional characteristic test software ・Thiele Small parameter calculation software ・Product-specific test procedures ・Automation and data management The full package of PULSE Basic Electroacoustics and all these modules is available as PULSE Electroacoustics Type 7907-S1. See Product Data for more information.

■Use example

This software allows you to take accurate measurements even in noisy environments. A swept sine signal can be used to measure the frequency response with time-selected reflections removed. Perform free-field measurements with simulated basic output and frequency responses to evaluate loudspeakers in normally reverberant environments, eliminating the need for an anechoic chamber. Support for multiple input channels allows measurements of different types of inputs, such as disparate microphones or electrical inputs. Multiple real-time analyzes allow combinations such as analyzing multiple inputs such as preamp, direct, and CCLD inputs with different settings.
